Who we are

The Children’s Restoration Care Centre Australia is a charity organisation that is mainly interested in helping to provide support services to disadvantaged people living in Jinja in Uganda. The Australian branch works with the branch in Uganda to see to it that those who are financially disadvantaged are given the necessary support that they need in order to achieve their aims in life.

What is the vision of the Children’s Restoration Care Centre (Australia)?

The Centre has a very unique vision and that is to see to it that those who living in the poorer regions of Uganda are supported in order to make sure that can sustain themselves.

What is the mission statement of the Children’s Restoration Care Centre (Australia)?

The mission of the Centre is to ensure that those who are financially less privileged are helped to have a strong footing in life.

What does the Centre cherish?

The Centre values the given of equal life chances to people regardless their origins and cultural backgrounds so that they can all achieve their best in life.

The plight of people living in those deprived areas in Uganda has touched the hearts of these people that they have been volunteering their time and energy to see to it that the much needed help and support services are provided for those who are disadvantaged.

What are the services provided by the Children’s Restoration Care Centre (Australia)?

The Centre in collaboration with that of Uganda has been providing various vital support services to the people and these services are referred to as projects. These projects are all undertaken with the single objective of helping to support such people to also make a meaning of their life. Some of the projects that the Children’s Restoration Care Centre (Australia) undertakes include the following;

Community development projects

These are projects that are undertaken with the view of helping to build the capacity of the people living within the community. Building the capacity of the community helps to put the people in a better position to carry out a number of developmental tasks that improves the quality of life of community members.

Foster care projects

These projects deal with the provision of foster homes for those children who have been rendered homeless through no fault of theirs.

Sponsorship projects

The sponsorship projects are undertaken to help provide children in schools with the financial assistance that will help them to acquire the skills and knowledge needed to survive in the world nowadays.

Youth development projects

These projects are also aimed at helping to equip the youth with the necessary skills that they need with regards to the job market. Such skills get them ready to carry out a number of skill-based jobs and as a result help in enhancing their way of life.
