Children, Youth and Family Services
This is a service that was previously referred to as “The Churches of Christ Care Pathways”. It is mainly concerned with providing various services that are related to providing better care for children who are realised as living under unfavourable conditions which hamper their development. This service helps to provide such children with the right homes which will allow them to grow up in the light of the Lord.
Early Childhood Services
This is also another essential service of the Churches of Christ in Queensland which sees to it children who are under the ages of 16 are provided with the necessary and appropriate support and care services that will help them to grow up into responsible adults. This service entails two main ways of execution and they are;
The Home-based services deal with the provision of care for children within their respective homes.
The Centre-based services also deal with the provision of care for children at the various facilities that have been put in place by the Churches of Christ in Queensland.
The Churches of Christ in Queensland also provides a number of accommodation facilities for people who are financially not very sound. These people are treated with all forms of discriminations when they decide to go in search of an accommodation themselves from individual house owners. This is something which spurred the organisation on to build a number of well furnished houses which were then rented to such people at a very affordable price when compared to what they would have been asked to pay elsewhere. Each of these accommodation facilities are situated in communities that help to promote the proper development and involvement of the individual in the community that he or she lives.
Home Care services
This includes the provision of essential supportive services to people who are old but decide to live on their own without moving into any of the Centres that are known to care for such old people. The organisation sees to it that all the needs of these people are adequately met in order to make their lives as lively and simple as possible.
Retirement Villages Program
This is a program of the Churches of Christ which sees to it that those who are very old and no longer wish to live on their own are provided with accommodation and essential general supportive care services that help to enhance the lives of these old people.
