About the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Western Australia (MSWA)
The vision of the MSWA is to free the world from the devastating impact of multiple sclerosis. Within that, they seek to help those living with ms to achieve the best out of life. To this end, MSWA work tirelessly to bring about education, understanding, new treatments and developments in care and support for people living with ms.
The organisation started just 40 years ago, and now has over 500 staff. In addition to MSWAs support for MS sufferers, they also provide services to people living with other neurological conditions. Their experienced team of nursing and health professionals help to deliver the support, services and programs offered by MSWA.
About the MS Luxury Lottery
The MS Luxury Lottery is run by the MS Society of Western Australia (MSWA). The Society utilises proceeds from this lottery to help fund their work in the following ways:
- Contributing to research into the cause of multiple sclerosis, as well as the search for better treatments and potential cures for this disease.
- Building new high-care facilities in Perth, Bunbury and Albany to help support people living with this disease
- Providing hundreds of thousands of hours of essential services to those living with multiple sclerosis, as well as their families and carers.
