Neuroblastoma Australia

Helping to provide medical support services to all children who are diagnosed as having Neuroblastoma.

Who we are

The Neuroblastoma Australia is a charity organisation that was formed in the year 2010 by two families. These two families came together to form the organisation with the aim of helping to provide support to children who are diagnosed with the health condition known as “Neuroblastoma”. Each of these two families had a child who was suffering from such a condition and unfortunately only one of the children survived. The two founding families are the Hoffmann’s and the Flanagan’s.

What is the mission of the Neuroblastoma Australia?

What is the vision of the Neuroblastoma Australia?

The vision of this charity organisation is to see to it that children suffering from neuroblastoma are provided with proper medical treatment that will make sure they survive in the battle against the sickness.

What are the values of the Neuroblastoma Australia?

The following values are always upheld by the Neuroblastoma Australia;

  1. To provide proper medical care to child suffering from neuroblastoma
  2. To support families who have their children diagnosed as suffering from neuroblastoma
  3. To create awareness about neuroblastoma and the availability of support services at the Neuroblastoma Australia.

It is very disheartening to find out that neuroblastoma is a medical condition which previously left only half of its victims alive. This is what the Neuroblastoma Australia charity organisation seeks to improve so that the total number of children who survive such a condition can be increased in the future whilst researches are carried out to find lasting solutions for the sickness.

What are the main services that are provided by the Neuroblastoma Australia?

The organisation provides three major services to each and every child who is suffering from the neuroblastoma medical condition and their families. These services are based upon the goals set by the organisation and they include;

The creation of awareness

This involves the organising of a variety of programs and events by the Neuroblastoma Australia charity organisation to help get the general public aware of the health condition known as Neuroblastoma and how dangerous it can be if proper medical care is not sought for. This service is to help educate people as the greater part of the population does not even know about such a medical condition.

The provision of funds

This is a service which has seen the organisation holding a variety of events with the sole aim of helping to raise essential funds which are then given to a number of institutions that undertake researches into neuroblastoma with regards to how best such a sickness can be handled permanently.

The provision of supportive services

This involves the provision of assistance to each and every child who is suffering from neuroblastoma and their families so that they can also assess the appropriate medical treatment that is needed to ensure the survival of the child.
