Princess Margaret Hospital for Children or PMH has been designed as a place of love, hope and inspiration. As a globally recognized paediatric facility, this hospital is caring for in excess of 250,000 kids every year from throughout Western Australia, as outpatients and inpatients. Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation is the authorized fundraising arm of the PMH. All the net income that is raised is made accessible to the PMH for the financing of medical equipment; expertise; specialist services; research and education; and capital projects.

What PMH does
Princess Margaret Hospital for Children believes that kids deserve a happy and healthy life. Regrettably lots of them will experience illness, injury, and trauma, some which could be life-threatening. Gratefully the PMH is available to support and help the children as well as their families during such hard times.
As a first-rate global paediatric facility, the Princess Margaret Hospital attracts the best and brightest medical minds from across Australia and globally to care for their children and in training future generations of researchers and clinicians.
Since the establishment of the Foundation in 1998, it has granted over $50 million to the PMH, with the funds being directed into the identified priority areas. In more recent years, key funding is being allocated to the setting up of the Adolescent Centre, the Children’s Rehabilitation Centre and to ongoing research. The Foundation is also providing in excess of a quarter of all the equipment being used currently by the hospital.
The PMHF is committed to enhancing the quality of life of all the sick children in West Australia. The increasing demand on the facilities of the hospital and the fast advancement of modern technology in medicine means that to realize this objective is one never-ending undertaking.
