About us
The Raize the Roof Foundation was established to provide aids and supportive services to those children who are seen as being less privileged or disadvantaged in one way or the other. It is a Foundation that seeks to make sure that children all over the world who have been left in various precarious situations as a result of either being sick or through the death of a parent or guardian are provided with services that will help to ensure that they also get to make the most out of their lives and realize their maximum potentials as humans on this earth.
The Foundation was formed in the community of Canberra by a group of young people who though it wise to come together and raise financial and material resources in order to help the children within Canberra who were either disadvantaged or less privileged and to also extend such supportive services to the other parts of the world.
Our vision
It is the vision of the Foundation to see to it that the less privileged children in the societies are all catered for in a very loving and caring way in order to see them become very successful in life.
Our values
There are three main things that are mostly cherished and upheld by the Foundation and these are;
- Being innovative
- Being inspirational
- Being dedicated
These three things are what the Foundation uses in reaching out to all the less privileged children across the face of the earth.
Currently, the Raize the Roof Foundation is engaged in helping to raise funds that are needed in putting up a charity house in Bonner and to also see to it that the rest of the funds that will left after the construction of the house will be sent to a number of orphanages that are spread throughout the whole of Botswana. It is also worthy to note that some part of the total money that will be realized at the end of the fundraising event will be used to provide supportive assistance to the Starlight Children Foundation in order to ensure that they keep on providing the appropriate and quality services that they have for some time now been rendering to kids who are terminally ill.
This is a very noble thing that the youth of Canberra have taken upon themselves to do in order to ensure that each and every underprivileged child within Canberra and other parts of the world gets provided with services that will help him or her to also attain his or her maximum potentials in the society where he or she lives.
How you can help the Foundation
There are many ways through which every individual can also contribute his or her part to what the Foundation has been doing for the less privileged children in the societies and these include;
To make a donation to the Raize the Roof Foundation
An avenue has been created by the Foundation which gives each and every individual the chance to donate something either financially or materially to help the cause of the Foundation. These donations can be made in the following ways;
- A once-off donation which is the type of donation that is done only once
- A weekly donation which is the type of donation that is made to the Foundation on a weekly basis
- A monthly donation which is made on a monthly interval
- A quarterly donation which is also made at the end of every three months
- A yearly donation which involves the making of a donation to the Foundation with a yearly interval
These are the various avenues which have been created to allow the general public to also put in their support through donations and help the Foundation to provide for the less privileged children in the society.
To become a volunteer
The Raize the Roof Foundation also has this avenue which it has been utilizing to generate essential human resources to help with the various services that it provides and that is through the services of volunteers. Volunteering for the Foundation gives an individual the chance to also put in his or her maximum best to help the cause of the Foundation by undertaking certain activities that are within the specialty range of a particular person. This means that whoever volunteers will be allowed to undertake tasks that he or she knows how to do well. The public are entreated to volunteer in helping the Foundation to construct its Charity House. All those who volunteer their time and energy to the Foundation also do it free of charge and do not seek for any form of payment either in cash or in kind.

This is another way through one the public can help the Foundation. This avenue entreats the general public to help spread the news about all the things that the Raize the Roof Foundation is about, what it hopes to achieve and what people can do to help it achieve its goals and objectives.
