The first prize package includes all furnishings, appliances and fees, and comes with an additional $10,000 in cashable gold bullion to get you on your way.

The Endeavour Lottery is always a popular one so be sure to get your tickets early and be in to win this beautiful hinterland home. You’ll need to make your ticket purchases by 19 June 2019 to be automatically entered into the Early Bird Draw for $5,000 in cash, and you won’t want to miss out on an extra chance to walk away a winner.

Living in Maroochy River

Coolum Creek forms the eastern boundary of Maroochy River, a small community located about a dozen kilometers in from the coast. The river itself flows from the Blackall Range through Eumundi and enters the sea at Maroochydore. Early settlers used the waterway to travel from Yandina to the ocean and it is still a very popular river for fishing and recreational boating. You’ll be able to see the Maroochy and its tributaries from your alfresco as it winds through the surrounding river flats.

Ocean Vista Drive leads up to Mount Ninderry and you’ll be on the doorstep of the hinterland’s famed hiking, scenic lookouts, wildlife and waterfalls. Browse through the markets in Eumundi and Yandina, or head half-an-hour north to Noosa Heads if you’re looking for nightlife and boutique shopping. The Sunshine Coast Airport is only about twenty minutes away and you’re roughly an hour and a half from Brisbane.

This prize home really does offer the best of the Sunshine Coast. Whether you want to spend the day at the beach or escape into the cool foliage of the forest, you’ll be living in close proximity to all of it. It’s one thing to visit the area, but quite another to be a resident and have all the time in the world to explore the world-class golf courses, water sports, attractions and restaurants that make the Sunshine Coast a favourite holiday destination.

A Home in the Trees

The prize home in Maroochy River spans two floors, with the main living area raised above a two-car garage and laundry room. As soon as you enter the front door, you’re faced with the spectacular view that can be seen from almost every room in the home. If you’re looking for plenty of natural light and verdant surrounds, you’ve come to the right place.

The integrated dining room, kitchen and lounge open seamlessly onto the wide alfresco, providing a huge living space that’s custom-made for entertaining. The kitchen also has a fully equipped butler’s pantry that makes food preparation a joy. A wide breakfast island has comfortable seating for casual meals while the formal dining area will seat eight guests. The adjoining lounge has a large flat-screen television and you’ve also got a media room with a massive couch where the whole family can curl up for movie nights.

The four bedrooms are arrayed across the rear of the home and the master faces the ocean. It has a private deck for taking in the panoramic view and a full ensuite. There’s also a small study near the front entryway if you need to do a little work from home or catch up on your social media.

Two staircases descend to the lower level, one leading to the laundry and the other to the pool area. The infinity pool looks out over the river, coast and forests, and you’ll probably find yourself spending a good bit of time just staring from its edge to the far horizon. In the garden below, you’ve got a fire pit and shaded lot that features an expanse of natural foliage.
