Which Location Best Suits Your Lifestyle?

Exclusive Potts Point

Potts Point is an inner-city suburb of Sydney, just three kilometres from the downtown core and a twenty-minute drive from Bondi Beach. The entire area covers less than a square kilometre and is an extremely desirable place to live.

This tiny suburb initially contained numerous grand Georgian mansions along the ridged part of its perimeter, and several of these still survive and are listed on the Register of the National Estate. It also has the greatest concentration of art deco buildings in the country, due to intensive development after the second world war. Modern design blends with old-world charm in this sophisticated Sydney neighbourhood.

Potts Point also has a fascinating bohemian history that has long attracted a community of artists, musicians and writers to the neighbourhood. It is now home to 9,000 affluent residents and draws people from around the city to its many restaurants, cafes and theatres.

The first apartment in the prize package is situated on Victoria Street, a ten-minute drive from Circular Quay and the Opera House which are clearly visible from its al fresco dining area. This is a wonderful location from which to explore the many attractions of a world-class city, and an enviable place to call home.

Port Melbourne Finery

The historic suburb of Port Melbourne is brimming with character, just a few kilometres to the south of Melbourne’s Central Business District yet distinctively its own community. The second apartment in the prize package is a pristine one-bedroom residence at “Bayshore”, set among Bay Street’s much lauded restaurants and cafes.

Port Melbourne lies on the shores of Hobsons Bay, nestled against the lower part of the Yarra River. It was developed as the city’s second port and was once an almost exclusively industrial area. Decades of urban renewal projects have transformed Port Melbourne into a much-coveted neighbourhood, filled with parks and direct access to the bayside beaches. As a result, it is now one of the wealthiest and most expensive suburbs in the city.

Bay Street is Port Melbourne’s historic and shopping district where many of the heritage buildings have been lovingly preserved and restored. You’ll be surrounded by fabulous architecture as you stroll the shore or explore the area’s open markets. Port Melbourne Beach lies at your feet and you can walk to the Princes Pier where thousands of immigrants first landed in their new home after the Second World War.

Your luxurious apartment on Bay Street will provide a perfect place to unwind after a day of taking in Melbourne’s other famous cultural attractions, gardens and entertainment venues. The city has consistently been voted the most livable in the world, and you could soon be enjoying “live-in” status yourself.

Noosa Sunshine

The town of Noosa Heads lies on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, about 135 kilometres to the north of Brisbane. It is bounded by the Noosa River, the Noosa National Park, and – of course – a vast expanse of glorious white sand beach.

People come from all over the world to experience the wonders of the Queensland Coast, and Noosa Heads lies at the northern tip of it all. The National Park is home to koalas and flying foxes, both of which can be commonly seen as you hike the trails. If you love the great outdoors, you’ll be right at home in the hinterland which is filled with nature preserves, birdsong and native flora.

The bays around the headlands are recognized as part of the world surfing circuit, and beach culture is alive and well in Noosa Heads. Fish, sail or simply close your eyes and soak in the atmosphere along its miles of clean sandy beaches. The apartment on Noosa Drive is less than a kilometre from the main beach, and the bustle of Hastings Street is even closer.

Draw #350 is an Investor’s Dream

Winning a million-dollar home in any of the RSL home lotteries is a dream come true. Many past winners have moved right in, while others have sold the properties and gone on to enjoy their profits in a variety of different ways — paying off existing debt, helping family members, or simply retiring early. Winning three properties at once, however, is a complete game-changer.

If you are the lucky winner of the three apartments in draw #350, you have any number of options for making the most of your once-in-a-lifetime windfall.

Photo of RSL Art Union Draw 350

First of all, you could move into one of the homes and rent out the other two. This would provide you with a tidy annual income, and pay for all fees and expenses on your new residence forever. If you choose to rent all three properties, you can expect to receive a total annual income of almost $155,000. That’s a very healthy salary to either augment or replace the one you are currently earning.

If you’re always seeking new adventures, you might want to keep all three apartments for your own private use and split your time between Sydney, Melbourne and Noosa. You could have your principal residence on the Sunshine Coast and use the Melbourne apartment for visits to the city. The apartment in Potts Point in perfect for longer stays in Sydney, and large enough to accommodate guests.

You could also choose to sell up immediately and use the profits on whatever else you can dream up for yourself. The total value of the first prize package is $3,460,371 so there’s really no limit to the things you could do with the proceeds of sale. Imagine never having to work again, living entirely debt free, or travelling the world in absolute comfort and luxury.

Photo of RSL Art Union Draw 350

For those with patience, however, this prize truly is an investor’s dream. All three apartments are located in highly desirable locations where property values are sure to rise in the future. Renting now and selling later can multiply your winnings even further, with a massive payday at the end of the road.

Any way you look at it, this draw will usher in a future of comfort, luxury and high living. How you get there is entirely up to you.

Ticket Sales Are Brisk So Get Yours Before They’re All Gone

Tickets for the RSL draw #350 are selling exceptionally quickly because this kind of opportunity where you could win three apartments in a single lottery draw is rare. You can become a multi-millionaire overnight, and be faced with the delicious problem of having to decide where to live, what to rent, and even how much to sell for, just in time for Christmas.

Buying ticket books is a sure way to increase your chances of winning the $3.5 million first prize package. You’ll get more tickets, and therefore more chances, to soon be picking up not one but three new sets of keys. In addition, however, ticket books increase your winnings by adding gold bullion to the prize. Buying a $10 ticket book adds $30,000 in gold bullion to the first prize pot. After that, the amount of gold increases, as do the number of free tickets you receive with your purchase.
